Catching you all up!

I've been wondering where to start with this blog, I mean ALOT has happened in our lives the last 8 months or so. I don't feel like I can just jump right into it so I'd like to share a small bit of our story! We were married September 3, 2010. It was an awesome day and I can't even describe how loved we felt by our friends and family.

We went on an INCREDIBLE honeymoon to Hawaii and have dying to go back since!
(I got my camera wet, so I only have a phone picture)

Then we moved to Rexburg into this tiny apartment! Excuse the mess, this was moving day!

We turned that little apartment into this:

And now it's our home! It's tiny but we love it.

Jordan and I started school, and had our first Christmas together.

Jordan snowboarded every week of the winter semester! He even said once that he had gone so much he may be tired of it.... maybe. I tagged along a couple times too.

We both had wonderful birthdays.

Celebrated Easter away from our families but with our cousins Justin and Megan

Jordan started up a watch business called
It has been lots of fun but lots of work!

I broke my stupid ankle.

Now we are here! 8 months later!

In these last many months, we've experienced so much together. We've been incredibly happy, immensely blessed, felt peace, faced adversity, been scared, got sick, weary of the cold and snow, and we almost cried when it got above 60 degrees out of joy! We've faced school, winter, long road trips, and broken bones but through it all, I have never been happier. I enjoy every minute of my life and I feel like this is exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I always wanted to feel this much peace, like I belong exactly where I am, and who I am with.

Now, tonight is a different story. Jordan has been gone at work and won't be home until late tonight. We got to spend half an hour together after school before he had to leave. I honestly didn't know what to do on a Friday night without him! Wow, am I really that lame? Yeah I guess so, what can I say I just love to hangout with him! So this is what I decided to do.

Jordan found this "The Brady's" sign when he was on his mission in Utah. Isn't it cute! I love the font and the little scalloped edge. Jordan has been telling me I should paint it (let's face it, that wood isn't exactly pretty), so I have been trying to come up with colors. Tonight I tackled it and this is what came out:

It's not quite finished but I absolutely adore it! I love the way the aqua makes the shape of the letters stand out so well, and the orange accentuates the scallops! So I am pretty proud of my painting skills. Can't wait for Jordan to get home tonight and see it!

Until then, I guess I will make the time go by faster by reading this:

This is a very entertaining series. I could have read the first two books in a week, but forced myself to slow down so I could enjoy them more! Has anyone else read these?
Hope everyone has a wonderful 3 day weekend and remembers those who lost their lives for our country.
Confession:  Today my professor mentioned that just this week nine soldiers, right around my age, have lost their lives in battle and I got very choked up. What a courageous thing to do, to leave the comforts of this country and go fight for all of our rights that we can live comfortably here at home. I am so grateful.
